After surfing the web for making money sites, I’m very confused. What is the best way to make money online today? I have a lot of time that I can focus on making money but where do I go?

The best way to make money is to get a real job. You are not going to make money online period. You can lose money online if you believe in all the work at home scams.
If you want to make money get dressed and go out and get a job. You will not earn money sitting at your computer.

The best way to to make money online is to do something you like. You can make a blog. You can make a website that sells affiliate products. You can put adsense or products on the blog. You can even just write articles, put links to affiliate products in the resource box and make money that way. Then you don’t even need a website. You can find all the info you need to make money online at warriorforum.com
I’d suggest SwagBucks. you don’t earn much, but you earn virtual dollars called SwagBucks. Then you can use those to get stuff. Some things are mp3s, shirts, gift cards, iPods. (It does take a while for them to build up, but when you finally get it it’s worth it.)
You don’t do much, just use swagbucks the way you’d use google to search. It’ll reward you every now and then. I usually get between 1-10 swagbucks a day. It can add up, especially if you remember to use it instead of Google. It’s a combo of Google and Ask results, so it’s reliable.

ps: I’ve tried survey sites, all I’ve gotten were a (scratched!) cd and junkmail. I suppose if you want to try it you could, but it’s not really worth it for me.
EDIT: also, if you have a PayPal account you could try PickyDomains. Yyou come up with names for websites, based on description, If the owners like your name, you get $25.
