What confirmed options are there for making money online?
Question by Danno: What confirmed options are there for making money online?
I’m stuck in a situation where I’m couch surfing, but I always have my laptop with me. I have more than enough time to work online, but I haven’t been able to find anything legitimate(like, you have to pay THEM before they pay you :/)
What confirmed ways are there to make money online, no scams or trolling?
Thanks ahead of time guys.

The only legit way is to play the stock markets with ETrade or some web trading site like that. Any survey or make money quick site is a complete scam.

You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home
jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well .
Make your own blog and start writing posts. When you have enough traffic, add some ads and that’s your start.
I think you should consider the Domain Flipping business. I started doing this a few months back and have made a considerable amount. You simply buy domains for $8 then flip them to make sometimes if not thousands at auction. What you will need is the right training to do this properly and of course a software program to uncover the gems.
You might want to take a look at http://www.DomainFlipClub.com I bought their video Training and Expired Domain Software 2 months ago which has given me an excellent system to grab domains the moment they drop to resell at auction for large profits. I spent countless hours researching the domain flipping subject. I am now a very happy person having finally found a program that will make me money. Update: I have just resold my 20th domain and made over $90 having just bought it for just $8 following the DomainFlipClub.com training.
Have you tried shareapic.net. You get $$$ for every time a person click your pic. Most of the people I know are using it as well.

FYI, Survey sites are a waste of time.
If you search for “work at home jobs” and to a lesser extent “make money online” you’ll be overwhelmed with scams as well as people trying to sell affiliate products to you (whether its their own product or someone trying to make a commission off of someone else’s product.)
Making money online usually involves freelancing or affiliate marketing. Do you have any computer skills that you can market online, and keep online such as web design?
Affiliate Marketing is when companies pay you to market their product. You’d get a commission for each successful sale that you make.
Some really common websites for affiliate marketing include:
ClickBank
Commission Junction
LinkShare
Google Adsense (you get paid per click with this one, no one has to buy anything.)
Content is vital if you’re interesting in affiliate marketing. Write articles on sites like eHow, HubPages, and more.
I have a blog which I give tips on internet marketing:

This blog is not a sales pitch or even an opt in list. Its just free information.
Reminder: Don’t EVER pay to sign up for anything which claims you’ll make money from it.

Your earning target depends on your skills, hard work and your
ability to compete with others
There are multiple ways to making money online but most if not all require an investment to setup as they are home businesses. If you don’t want to go that route you can write for a living but then again you need to really ask yourself if that is what you can really do?
Can you write 5000 words a day only to expect maybe $5-10/month from that effort? Do enough and you should be pulling in a couple hundred but that really isn’t a full time job now is it.
Whatever you do make sure you get with an online mentor. If you do decide to go into sales make sure you also get a marketing system. No use in selling something that no one knows you have or wants to buy. Target your products so people who want it come to YOU and only you.
Check out http://www.oDesk.com. It’s a way to list your services as a contractor to employers for online work. They have everything from writing articles and blogs to doing project management work. You don’t actually look through for jobs, but it’s a way to have your resume and skills available for employers to see that are looking to outsource some work. It’s free to list yourself on the site and they don’t take any cut or percentage of your pay. (The charge for the site goes to the employers.)
As a contractor on the site, I really like it. I am a Social Media Manager for Storkbrokers.com and it’s how they monitor my work and pay me quickly for it. It’s a very reputable site. There is a “time tracking” app that monitors your hours and you write a quick memo whenever you clock in to let your employer know what your up to. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it takes snapshots of the screen while your working. But I can understand why that is important to employers. (They don’t want to pay you for playing games).
Good Luck!
There are exactly NO real online jobs. Anywhere. Really..,.
