I hear all this stuff about free surveys that you get paid for, but I’m apprehensive about giving any credit card number to anyone. How do I know when one of these sites is legitimate, and what do I do? Is there any other way to make money online easily? I’m a student and I’m really low on cash these days, I want to make money quickly from my home.

Most of them are scams and you will see many now that say “most of them are scams and this one isn’t and here’s why”. That is a scam too. I honestly don’t know of any “work from home businesses” unless you are doing a MLM.
My wife and I buy things at garage sales and such and then re-sell them on Craigslist at a higher price. Pretty good money.

Most are scams & it is difficult to know which ones are not. Good morning America does a lot about that…so you could go to their website & search. Here are some more ideas:
