Looking for a really flexible way to make money online, like freelance writing or maybe survey taking. Are there any legitimate, non-scam ways to do this?
How can you tell when an offer is legitimate? I do not want to be giving away my personal information and SSN freely over the internet.

There are NO online “ways to make money” that are not scams in one way or another…………….if there were, then 20 million people wold not be unemployed !!!
start a website and put some affiliate links on it, then you get commission when someone buys, or sometime when they even just click on it.
http://www.cj.com is a good one and also google adsense is good too, with that you get paid when someone clicks on the ad, so it all depends on the amount of traffic you get as to how much money you can make.
This is a good way to make money, but you won’t get rich quick, it takes time.

At the moment there are two great options, I’m not going to lie one way is very slow only generating about $5 a week but its 100% free soo I would recommend that. One way is to get a mentor who is already making money in a particular aspect and who is ready to tutor you while you pay later. Its possible. Without hand holding sometimes, it can be difficult.
