How to make money online, for real?
Question by Ty Matthews: How to make money online, for real?
I need extra cash fast, I bought most of the so called products from the gurus advising to make money online and none of them works, I’m tired of all these guys trying to make money out of the innocent by blinding us by their marketing and showing us how they are living a good life by making money online, whilst guys like me try to do what they teach and it just doesn’t work,
So is it possible to make money online, also what methods do you guys find very profitable to use?
Thank you.

Hey Ty,
You need to stick to one strategy and make it work and also try not to rush thinking you can make so much money in short-time you need to join blogs and forums where they advise on making money, it is possible but also require you to be patient and persevering almost
Good Luck!
I make money online for real but I don’t do it like everyone else. Also, I’m not going to sell you something or sign you up for a membership. However, the way I make money is not easy. It will take some research and work. That is up to you.
I work a full time job but also sell things on eBay or Craigslist which makes me anywhere from $300 to $1200 extra per month, depending on the items I sell and my luck. I don’t sell the regular products. While I tried to find a good product from wholesalers, I found they are just hyped-up ripoffs. What I do is a little different. I find my products at garage sales, thrift stores, resale shops, and pawn shops. I will sell anything if I think it is profitable. Over time, I’ve learned what sells and what doesn’t. That is the real trick. I stay away from electronics like cell phones, Ipads, Ipods, MP3 & MP4 players, computers, Sirius receivers and junk like that. Everyone and their cousin is already selling them and they have better suppliers than me.
Instead, I sell items that I’ve learned are in demand but harder to find. Every garage sale has clothing for sale. I’ve learned to look for certain brand names and styles. Most clothing does not sell on eBay. Other clothing sells like crazy. I’ve learned which ones. Also, certain brand name purses and shoes that I find in thrift stores and garage sales sell like crazy while others do not.
I once found 2 silly wooden ducks at a garage sale. They were hand carved and painted. They were also signed and dated by the craftsman. Any collectors item that is signed will sell very well. I paid $1 each for those stupid ducks. One sold on eBay auction for $18 and the other sold for $35. Even after my eBay listing fees and Pay Pal fees, I made a hefty profit. I have bought old books at garage sales for 25¢ and sold them for $20 to $50 dollars. If they are signed, they are more valuable.
There is one particular item I sell very well. It’s kind of a secret and I won’t tell you what it is here because if everyone starts selling them, my profits will go down. They are usually found in pawn shops and are always used. I pay from $10 to $100 for them and ALWAYS sell them for about $75 to $400. I always make HUGE profits on them and the customer always pays the shipping. If you contact me through the email link in my Yahoo Answers profile, I will tell you what they are. I am not going to try to sell you something. I want to keep my competition down. I will tell you what they are, but you must find them yourself. When I find them, I argue with the pawn shops and get a better price. However, I have learned they sell easy for high prices so I always buy them. Sometimes I might sell 5 or 6 at the same time and become my own competition.
I have bought and sold antiques, model airplanes, rare coins, radios, old 8mm film projectors, DVDs, an inflatable rubber raft, old dolls and doll clothing, old record albums, jewelry, hats, and much more.
I once found an antique doll bed at an estate sale and paid $20. It was the only thing at the estate sale I could afford. I sold that bed on eBay for $140. My friend got two used low-profile tires from a BMW dealership dumpster. They were free. I sold them on eBay for $100 each.
I also have good luck with items like Abu Garcia or Shimano fishing reels. I am a girl and knew nothing about fishing but I learned about the fishing gear because they sell fast. I once bought a home treadmill at a garage sale for $100. The seller helped me put it in the back end of my SUV. When I got home, I took some pictures of it and listed it on Craisglist for free. I was flooded with emails and phone calls and sold it the same day for my asking price of $250 and even had people offer me $300. I didn’t take the higher offer because I already promised it to the first guy that called. I keep the Karma good by staying honest. I do not write false or misleading ads or auction listings. Everything is clearly stated in my ads.
These are just a few examples of the types of things I sell. There are literally hundreds. I do not limit myself but have learned to stay clear of many items. I know what sells and what doesn’t . If you are not careful, you can lose your butt. Take the time to research on eBay.
The US Post Office give free shipping boxes, envelopes, and supplies. You don’t need to buy them. You can order online as http://USPS.com and they will deliver to your door for free. That is a huge savings. I bought a USPS scale. When I sell an item, I calculate the shipping costs from the scale and include it in my auctions. I always ship the next business day which makes my customers happy.
I do not have any special skills or education. If I can do it, anyone can.
Unless you have very specific skills, such as graphic design, web design, computer programming or sell on eBay, there are no real internet work at home jobs. On line jobs are just another urban myth. You will just be bombarded with all kinds of work at home scams such as envelope stuffing, data entry, home assembly, medical transcription, reading e mails, surveys, etc.
