Question by Polly Prociuk: How can I get good money online with my notebook?
I am a single parent and stay at home mom with a 15 month young toddler and I would like to make money online using my laptop. I choose to stay at home until my toddler starts preschool so I intend to work from home for 3-4 years. What legitimate career/jobs shall I pursue with little or no experience, where I can make my own hours and no money to invest? Your help I greatly appreciate.

I looked into this a while ago, but haven’t really had the time lately to do much of it. I’ve done the online surveys for cash, but that’s only a max. of about around 200$ a month if you’re working your @$$ off. So here’s a rough list with a slight definition of some of the best things I found…

Yuwie – myspace to make $$$$ off of just for making friends.

Blogitive and PayPerPost providing a platform through which companies essentially contract bloggers to post favourable content about their products in exchange for cash http://www.helium.com/write_menu?who=writer&placement=hma_content_atf_right

iStockPhoto and Fotolia – take pics for money

YouGov, whose methodology involves obtaining responses from an invited group of internet users at prices ranging from £0.50 to £2.00 per survey

Second Life and Moola – paid to play games

Elance.com they are looking for more writers. Set up an ad and start offering up your fast writing skills

Take nice pictures. Get them up on the web at a broker, or microstock site. Make some money

Cleaning houses — you will probably need cleaning supplies which you can pick up in bulk somewhere such as BJ’s Wholesale or Target.

mystery shopper — look for sites that aren’t scams??…

collect cans **ok, so it’s not online, but you’d be surprised.**

Ebay Arbitrage – Find items that you know are selling below their full value (either online or through a deal website like Slickdeals.net) buy them and sell them on eBay for more. Once you find your product niche you can set up a system. **THIS IS HARD!!! I’VE DONE THIS, AND SHIPPING PRICES SUCK @$$!!!! But if you can get it down, you could make your money back + double to triple.*

lot of searchable keywords. If you’re selling a bike, for example, don’t just put up,
‘Bike for sale’. Try: ‘Mongoose Maxim 24 Men’s Bike for Sale! Green, Awesome, and
Barely Used.’ Just enough details to get someone excited, but also friendly to the
searches.)

Look for Odd Jobs on Craigslist.org – People in your town need your help and they will pay you for it. Seriously. The jobs are there on Craigslist.org.

Clixsense.com. This is a very simply way to earn a few extra dollars. This website will pay you to look at some ads (I haven’t tried this one yet. It may be spam.)

InboxDollars.com. This is definitely my favorite! You fill out EASY and SHORT surveys and get PAID! In the first 2 days I made over and it was so simple. They even pay you for playing computer games.

Speaking of games, winster.com gives prizes (including cash) for playing games.

Seems like alot of crap, but I hope some of it helps. It’s all the stuff I found that wasn’t spam or like “Sign up now for only 0.00 and you can be a millionaire!!!” Lol. Good luck!! 😀
