“Hey, why are you working a boring 9-5, when you can make 0,000 a month making money online”?
Heard that one before?
If only making money online was that easy. Unfortunately this is not the truth, and in fact it can be downright ugly.

You see the problem is this.
For some reason, people think that making money online is easy. I have no idea why exactly, but they start trying to make money with all sorts of false expectations. They assume that by next month they will be making thousands without even trying.

Here are some pretty ugly truths about making money online:

1) You are highly unlikely to make enough to quit your job by next month. People are often conned into buying ‘work at home’ scams that promise this. Think about it for two minutes. Why would someone pay you per stuffed envelope, when they can pay a clerk to do it for minimum wage?

2) Only 1% of people who are actively trying to make money online, are actually making money. The other 99% spend countless hours online every night after work, but will probably never make a single cent.

3) Your site will probably never make it onto the top page of Google…or even the 50th for that matter. People will make a great website, set up some stuff to sell, and then submit it to Google and sit back and wait for the money to start rolling in. Bad news guys, getting your site to rank number 1 on Google requires hours of time and effort, and is probably beyond most people.

4) There are lots of scam artists out there. You might know this one already, but where there is a market of buyers, there will always be a market of scammers. Stats have shown that probably 50% of self proclaimed ‘Gurus’, have never made a cent online themselves.

5) And the last ugly truth about making money online. This is by far the most common mistake people make when they try to make it online. They think they can do it without spending any money. Think about this. If you were starting any other business, you would expect to spend money educating yourself. So why are people always reluctant to invest in good quality coaching when it comes to their online business? Probably because of point number 4 above, I guess, but this is the biggest mistake that 99% of people make. You have to copy what other people are doing. That is without a doubt the only way you can make money online.

Ok, so why the doom and gloom? Well sorry if I’ve dented your confidence in making money online, but it actually does take some work.

All is not lost though. Making money online is definitely achievable, but let’s get one thing straight right now. You won’t become an instant millionaire. You can quite easily be making ,000-,000 every month a year from now, but I’m warning you in advance, it takes some input.
