I was wonder what is a good way someone can make money through the internet. I hear people make money online. I would like to hear some people’s success stories if they have any. Thank you very much
P.S please do not spam me with stupid websites. i just want to know what people do to make money online without having some advertisements

If you are a good writer you can go to eHow.com. They pay you if your articles are read and popular. I also heard that you can take pictures, subscribe to certain web pages and if you pictures get downloaded many times you get paid. But this I have not tried. Also by adding ads to a blog if you have one you get paid by how many times people click on them. Hope this helps.

If you are talking about serious money, you would need to come up with an idea, develop a prototype, and find an “angel” investor for financial backing initially. There are a lot of unmet needs and discovering them depends upon your interest to research. The other way to make money, which is never huge, is nothing more than peddling products on the web. Also, if you work for someone via the web and are not a W-2 employee, which is often the case, you will pay 2x the payroll taxes as an independent contractor or self-employed status.

Using eHow and doing surveys actually brings in quite a bit. eHow is a very legit site and the survey links in that article are to respected sites. No matter what you do, make sure you never have to pay for a “work at home opportunity”, all legit sites will not ask you to pay anything. I hope these help you!
The best way to make money online – which is currently the fastest and easiest – since it is a proven system – would be through this new product that has come out very recently. Hi, Cindy. To answer your question directly, I do affiliate marketing with clickbank and commissionjunction, and publish google adsense ads.
Clickbank and comissionjunction are basically brokers who match you up with companies that have products and services to sell. You earn a commission for every product/service you sell. Adsense is where you place ads on your site from other companies and you get paid everytime someone clicks on those ads.
The most effective way to promote these business models is with article marketing. This is where you write an article about or review a product/service that you want to promote. You then submit your article to article directories online and/or do a press release.
Once your article is accepted, people will begin finding your article through the search engines online. Ideally, they will find and read your article where you will have a link to your website offering more information.
Article marketing is tried and true, has been working for years since before the internet in newspapers and magazines, to this day online in all its forms. Whether that be through an article directory, blog, youtube, podcast, or whatever.
As with any new business, you will need to do your homework. To market online you can follow the steps I’ve outlined below. It is by no means a comprehensive plan, but should give you enough info to get you started with links to websites I personally trust. I even give you my username on the recommended forums so you can verify that I have been a member there for many years and you can pm me.
The first thing you need to do is research a product you want to promote. Look at the competition, determine the demand online, and see if you can find a unique selling point.
Next you want to do keyword research. You want to find keywords that are searched for thousands of times per month, yet have very little competition in terms of advertisers and other websites that cover the niche. The best free tool right now is google itself.

There are complete courses on how to do this, but in a nutshell, look for keywords that have at least 5000 phrase match searches and less that 50,000 competing websites. To determine the number of competing websites, simply type the keyword in quotes in the google search bar. Like this “dog training books”. Look in the upper right corner and you’ll see the number of results. In this case 80,700. This means there are 80,700 web pages that refer to that keyword.
There are plenty of automated tools that will do this in bulk and range in prices from $10 – $????. For now, just do it manually until you get the hang of it. That way you will make a better decision when you decide to purchase such a tool.
Once you’ve determined a keyword phrase that you feel you can compete in, buy the domain name with those keywords in the domain. This is very important initially, as google seems to give new sites a little boost in the rankings. So in this example you would buy dogtrainingbooks.com (taken of course). Another key point in buying a domain name is only buy .com, .org, .net (in that order). Don’t use dashes and totally avoid .info and other extensions. Again, there is a ton of research behind this rule of thumb that I can’t get into.
Now that you have your domain name, you will need to host it. I personally use hostgator.com. Once that’s setup, I recommend setting up a wordpress blog. This is easily done in the cpanel of hostgator through a menu called fantastico.
Now you need to learn about seo, plugins, and marketing. A good starting point is visiting forums dedicated to internet marketers. I regularly visit

So be very careful, don’t believe everything you read. Look for posts that are rated highly and posts by members who’ve been there a long time to start with. If you’re really new to affiliate marketing, I hope I’ve given a few stepping stones. I’ve been doing this for 9 years, and I still learn something new almost daily.
The single most important thing I can tell you as a newbie is don’t spend any money beyond your domain name registration and hosting. Get as much free stuff and advice as you can. Like asking questions here and in the forums. I can’t tell you how many people fall victim to purchasing ebooks and tools and never really learn to use them properly and give up. You need to build a foundation of knowledge so you can make an informed decision when purchasing the latest and greatest ebooks and tools.
