I was laid off a while ago, and I am looking for a job now. But, I wanted to know if there was some good place to make money online?

There was a lady on here that said she worked 40 hours a week for a month doing surveys.
She was having trouble getting her check.
That was so sad – what a waste of time.
I would rather spend my time learning new software to improve my skills.
Be careful out there.
There was a report on CNN that 99% of these things are scams that require payment up front or never pay.
CCN’s Clark Howard has a website that talks about this, and some possible jobs (they do require higher education though).
Google “Clark Howard .com work at home” and read what he has to say.

There aren’t any places to do that…they’re scams.
I’ve been looking on ways to make money online for some time now and most of them didnt seem to work at all, be a scam or earn around 0.09$ each day. Recently I found a blog about how to earn online using a people search engine, it promised 125$ after 24 hrs of joining the said program. I did join and Im still in the free trial period, after its done I’ll have to pay all in all around 50$ a month, but up till now it seems promising. I sell items on EBay and on a local auction site. Most of my items comes from yards sales, flea markets, discount bins at local stores, etc. I sell larger items locally, less shipping charges etc. Most customers will gladly pick up the items. Sometimes I buy items from the local site just to sell on EBay. You can get the same type of information that some people offer for sale just by checking out the Ebay site for free!

There are many places that will tell you that you can make thousands of pounds online using their system and yet much fewer places where you can really make lots of money online.
Check some of the make money online forums, there are millions of them.
You might need to spend a few years learning about publishing and advertising and online marketing and then some money will come to you.
You might want to start by creating a website or a blog, then adding content to it, that’s the basis for a platform from where you can then sell ad space…. this is easily done, but you need a site and traffic going to it just concentrate on that and don’t expect to make any money at first.
Search the engines for “affiliate work”, “ghost writer”, professional blogger” then read a lot and learn. Anything not on that line is likely to be a scam.
When you first start a business, their is no m.oney made at first. You have to build it up. No matter what business you get involved in. The more effort you put into it and how hard your willing to work it, the faster you start making a sufficient amount of income. If you calculate the amount of hours you put into a regular job or a home “job” and the little you get paid, you would be better off starting a simple home based business, but make a lot more money and have more advantages.

The only three things that have worked for me:
1) GPTHQ (the best free GPT site I’ve ever used)
2) eBay (the fees are a bit much but still good)
3) Google Adsense (if you have a blog or website with some OK traffic)
