Don?t Give Up You Will Make Money Online

Current Situation

Due to the economic situation around the world many people have experienced hard times.  They are either living paycheck to paycheck or are currently behind on bills and need a fast way to make cash.  There are even people that have been recently laid off from their jobs without a plan “B” to fall back on.  According to CNNMoney.com “The percentage of those claiming that jobs are currently hard to get reached new high of 49.6%, while the number of consumers claiming that jobs are “plentiful” hit a new low at 3.4%.”  And according to the expectation index of whether the situation will get better declined from 73.7 to 65.7 last month.  And those expecting the job market to get better went from 18% to 16.3%.  The economists predict that Christmas spending will be down and that consumers will not regain spending confidence until late spring of next year.

What does that mean to us?  It means that things will only get worst and many people are comparing this to the great depression when people were borrowing money from the banks to invest in the stock market.  When the stock market crashed they were not able to pay back the banks the money, which had a trickle down effect.  Today since so many mortgages are going bad the banks have tightened their lending which is slowing down the economy.

Obstacles

There are a few obstacles to overcome when making money online.  The first is that you will be your own boss.  You have to overcome the obstacle of fear and believe that you can do it.  There are two basic responses to dealing with the obstacle of fear.  One is that you can shrink back; stay in bed and let your fear control and destroy your life, or you can invent new ingenious ways and find the courage to deal with your fear in this current economic situation.  When first starting out many people are going to experience the first obstacle of not knowing what to do or where to go for the support that they need.  This is where a good business mentor comes in hand.  If you don’t know one you will have to go out and find one.  Another obstacle is that people either don’t have the computer skills or don’t know their way around the Internet and don’t know where to start when it comes to making money online.  Take it slow and don’t get overwhelmed by the amount of information out there on making money online.  Start off by typing in make money online is Google’s search bar and just see the opportunities that are out there.

Previous Experience

Don’t let your previous experience stop you from making money online.  It may take up to a year if not more before you find the right program for you.  Just don’t give up.  Even if you found a couple of bad programs and been scammed out of your money don’t give up.  Away to avoid scams is to do research on every program that you are interested in.  Simply go to Google and type the programs name and similar keywords into the search box and read articles relating to the program.  If you come across articles referring to the program as a scam stay far away from it.  Also remember Thomas Edison and the amount of times that he tested his invention of the light bulb.  There was something inside of him that just believed that he could do it.  He did not give up and because of his blind faith my children have a night-light that shines on them as they sleep.

Fresh Start

If you did try to make money online and recently failed, try again.  And then again, and again, and again until you finally get it right.  Most of the time people fail to make money online because they don’t have a business plan laying out the details of what to expect and how to make money online.  A business plans purpose is to build the business on paper first without risking any capital or time.  Mistakes can be found early in the endeavor and avoided.  With a business plan in hand you will know your niche, target market and have a thorough knowledge on your competitive analysis.  A business plan will also give you the confidence and knowledge you need to make a fresh start.  Remember that it does not matter how many times you fail to make money online it only matters that you keep trying until you do.

Find Niche

Finding a niche is extremely important to making money online.  If you don’t know exactly what you want to do go to your local book store and look at magazines on different subject matters.  This will do two things.  First it will open your mind to the different possibilities out there and second it will give your mind the ability to create a new niche.  It is important to find something that you are passionate about because you will spend a lot of time writing articles, researching, and simply being around the subject matter.  This niche can be on anything under the sun.

Find Target Market

Finding a target market for your making money online niche is very simple.  Just go to http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com and type a key word for your niche and Wordtracker will tell you exactly how many people typed that word into a search engine in the last month.  This will give you an idea of how big your niche is.  Simply do a little research on your target market and you will know how to target your campaigns to meet their needs.  You will also find out that your target market will be a lot like you.  You can also do research on the demographics of your target market to further narrow down your marketing campaigns.

Find Mentor

If you have never made money online before the best way to start is to find a mentor.  A mentor will give you inside secrets to exactly how they were able to make money.  My mentor is Profit Miracle.  They taught me how to write articles and submit them to article submission directories.  They taught me how to use twitter and follow people with similar interests.  They also gave me a product that I could market and every time I sell their product I get 0.  But most importantly they will help you find your niche and teach you how to reach them.

Be Disciplined

When working from home it is very difficult to be disciplined.  In the beginning don’t be hard on yourself if you see your self sleeping too much or not doing what you should be doing.  Just make a plan.  What I like to do is get up at 6:00 AM spend time with my Lord, then get dressed and go out and ride my bicycle for about 45 minutes.  I then work out in my garage until 8:30 AM.  I have breakfast, take a shower, and I am at my computer by 9:00 AM.  I then work until lunch time, then I work until it is time to take my son to football practice at 6:00 PM.  This schedule works for me.  Make sure that you have a place where you can work with out any distractions.

Work Hard Be Patient

I have to stress it again.  When it comes to making money online you have to be patient.  This is not a get rich quick scheme and good things do come to those who wait.  Please resist the urge to jump from one program to another and following the newest guru that promises to make you a fortune online over night.  You will only frustrate yourself.
